Move into Non-Linear Thinking
We have moved beyond the mind, beyond cause and effect, beyond linear thinking. It’s still out there, linear thinking that is, but it is more powerful, more accessible than ever to live in non-linear thinking.
What does this mean?
Linear thinking said this: If you work hard, and do x then y will happen and eventually z.
There was a security in this. Doing A + B produced C. But now we have entered that new phase of human evolution of non-linear beingness.
What the heck is that?
Have you noticed, that when you are relaxed, open and calm your life falls into place? Opportunities come for that new job and new car and new relationship? Nothing great happens when you push and shove. Sure, you need to work hard and show up but forcing the issue backfires. For example, you think you want a certain job or relationship, but no matter what you do, doors don’t open.
But when I’m calm, and do things in the moment with heart, things come through exponentially.
It’s like working wiser, not smarter.
But you need the heart, the force beyond controlling mind.
Look around for evidence of this new creativity and the opportunities arising in life.
In my own life years ago, I could no longer find the energy to go to my regular 9-5 job. I literally got weak walking to the building.
I was forced into a part time position out of physical survival, which caused me to start my own business, write a book, start a blog, etc.
If you look around the the U.S., many of the older institutions whether corporate, industrial, or educational are in flux. Many are having to renogotiate how they function in the world, some have dropped out all together.
Non-linear thinking is about being in the moment in the heart and in the head, and finding ways to give your best to the world.
I write a lot about how to do this in my posts and will discuss it more in my upcoming course as well that launches in January. Others like Jen Ward write about in her books, so see her books at www.jenuinehealing.com
It’s both easier and more difficult. It’s easy because you engage more of yourself–in body, voice and brain, to make things happen; it’s a little tricky to learn because you let go of old mind tricks and old power pushes.
Exercise for non-linear living:
Try to see yourself as an orb of energy; see yourself as a continuous flow of energy—in and out. Imagine that all you need is flowing to you and all you have to give is flowing out to those beings who need it. Write down what you see happening, how you feel. What new opportunities come to you? How are you giving in this new way?
