Here are three more “tips of the transformation trade.” See if one or more speak to you.
The Magazine Tip: Go to old magazines. Set an intention. You’re going to pick photos for your future career, or future home, or future mate. Now put the intention aside (you could write it down) and just pick photos that speak to you. Forget about your intention; just have fun. Arrange them on paper and glue them on a large poster board. Set it aside for a few hours or a day and then look at it. What does it reveal about your new career, new job, new mate. Write down anything that comes to you as you look at the pictures. Then take a moment to feel gratitude for this coming into existence. Take a deep breath.
The Drawing Tip: Draw where you are now. Then draw a line down the page. Draw where you want to be emotionally, physically, mentally, whatever. Add color. Draw quotes you are saying or bank account figures, or things people are saying to you in your new life. Give thanks. Breathe. Keep the poster some place visible. See if you can draw three steps you can do now to get you closer to your dream picture. Take one step this week.
The Thanksgiving Tip: Write down thank-yous for all the gifts you receive. Date your thank you letter six months or a year from now. Really feel it in your body or heart if you can. Try checking in with being thankful on a daily basis. Put the first letter away for a year or six months. Take it out then and see how much your life has transformed. Write another thank you letter.
Let me know what has happened.
